PARKER TO TURN IT AROUND AT CLUB BRUGGE?
Scott Parker can proudly say that he is the first-ever Brugge manager to take charge of a Champions League knockout game.
But that might be where the positivity ends for the away team.
There wasn’t much he could have done to prevent the errors in the first leg, but Brugge are not doing too well in the league, winning just two of their last 13 top-flight games.
After a 3-0 defeat to KV Oostende on Friday, they are 20 points off of leaders Genk, who also have a game in hand, and Parker himself admitted he wasn’t sure how long he’d have the job.
