Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, Acting Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), met with Somalia’s Minister of Defence, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, and his entourage today at the IMCTC headquarters.
The Somali Minister of Defence and the accompanying delegation were briefed on the IMCTC’s core tasks and strategic initiatives, as well as procedures for coordinating and unifying its member states’ efforts to serve the Islamic and worldwide worlds in terrorist eradication.
During the conference, they discussed topics linked to combating terrorism and extremism, as well as measures to strengthen collaboration between IMCTC and Somalia, which is an IMCTC member.
